30/30 Day 1: “Write/Right”

Write

To remember what it was like

Write

Because every day is blank

No better ink than emotion

Write

On days when morning comes fast

And mourning comes easy

Write

For the wrongs

And our rights

Write

In beauty

And bitter lonesome ugly

Write

There will be a day

when the sand we are

is all that is left

Our code

Written on devices that go uncharged

Our books

Incinerated in the cosmic heat

Write

In memory

Write

A story on lips of lucid lovers

Write

On the palms of strangers

Find a story

Made familiar

Make new what was old, tattered

Write

A lifetime in stardust

Because that is all that will be left

A tale

Told in a vacuum

That’s the point

Right?
