30/30 Day 9: Twist For A Delinquent Dad

If I lie
And say I have a sitter
I do an injustice to my son
And am delinquent as a dad

If I book a sitter
And my sitter cancels on the day of
I still have to go to work
And am delinquent as a dad

If I don’t book a sitter
And stay home with my son
I lose my job, can’t afford food
And am delinquent as a dad

If I take my son to work
And he hobbles around on his crutches
I disobey the doctors orders
And am delinquent as a dad

If I book a sitter
And and I go to work as planned
I still miss out on time with my son
And am delinquent as a dad

If i… well… I….
And… you know I dont know
I… but… how am I supposed to do it all
And not be delinquent as a dad?
